• Myth number one is that there is room in Catholic schools for every Catholic child.
• Myth number two is that Catholic schools are only for those who can afford them.
• Myth number three is that Catholic schools should be for Catholics exclusively.
• Myth number four is that Catholic schools are dying off.
• Myth number five is that religious education classes or CCD, as it used to be called, provide all that is necessary for faith formation.
• Myth number six purports that further Catholic education is not needed after the reception of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation and Eucharist.
