Seton Catholic High School, Pittston

"Where Faith and Knowledge Meet"

Updated: October 2007

IMPORTANT REGION 7 DATES & REMINDERS:
  • Sacred Heart of Jesus School in Dupont closed in June 2007. The closing of this wonderful haven for Catholic children signaled the final blow to the Pittston Catholic schools system.

There is no longer a Region 7, nor is there a SHOJS. However, we have left the page, links and all, intact so that you can see what a wonderful place we have had taken from us by the Bishop of Scranton.

We no longer update this web site because of the closing of three out of four out of seven schools in the Pittston Area Catholic school system (by Bishop Joseph F. Martino of the Diocese of Scranton). Our original purpose was to promote the entire system of Catholic schools in the Pittston area so that we could save our beloved Seton Catholic High School. Unfortunately, we were not able to do this.
